Thomas (Tom) A. Michlovic was born February 21, 1946 in Braddock, Pa. Michlovic served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. He received a B.A. in political science in 1972 and an M.A. in public administration in 1976, both from the University of Pittsburgh. In 1978 he was elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 35th District. He remained in the House until his retirement in 2002.
